The Portal Race Tier List

Races in The Portal come from three families—Milk, Meat, and Mushroom—each with common outcomes and roughly 10% rare variants. Unlike classes, races can be rerolled with mirrors from Codes Hub if you plan carefully. This tier list ranks individual outcomes for combat value, not flavor, at v1 launch.

Always pair this page with Race and class pairings because racial passives only shine with matching STR, VIT, INT, or WIS builds.

Milk family

Human	A	Flexible for any class; best for undecided players

Corrupted Human rewards players who commit to Warrior build or burst Enchanter build if passives align. Human remains the safe pick when learning Combat Points.

Meat family

Fox	A	Balanced beast; good mobility
Cat	B	Viable but outdamaged by Wolf in most CP bands
